JOSEPH S. NIERENBERG

I grew up in New York City and graduated in 1979 from the State University of New York at Binghamton.  I prepared for law school by majoring in history and studying political science.  I came to California to study law at the University of San Diego where I obtained my law degree in 1982.  While in law school, I became passionate about representing those injured by the wrongdoing of others.

Right after law school, I moved to San Francisco and started my career by going to work for a prominent San Francisco firm representing injured persons against insurance companies and public entities.  In 1984, I was fortunate to meet Steve Weber, who shares my vision of providing clients with compassionate, personalized legal service.  We have been practicing law together ever since, protecting the rights of the injured, battling insurance companies, manufacturers, and public entities every day.

I am admitted to practice before all the Federal and State Courts in California.  I have tried many jury trials in northern California Courts.  I currently serve as a judicial arbitrator for Unlimited Jurisdiction of the San Francisco Courts.  I belong to the State Bar of California and Bar Association of San Francisco.  I am proud to be a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Consumer Attorneys of California, and San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association all dedicated to championing the rights of the injured.
