On Monday, June 24, 2013 around 5:20 p.m., a man walking near the rail tracks at the intersection of Market Street and 7th Street, San Francisco., was struck by a Muni trolley.
The man suffered critical injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Eileen Barrett was struck by an outbound 18-46th Avenue bus at about 4:30 p.m. at Lake Merced Boulevard. Although doctors initially thought she would survive this catastrophic accident, despite having been transported to a hospital with serious injuries, she did not make it.
